About the Author

Andrew Kaufman

Andrew Kaufman is a writer, film-maker and radio producer.

His writing has appeared on McSweeney's website, he has completed a Director's Residency at the Canadian Film Centre and his film Aberistiwith was screened at festivals across Europe and Canada.

Andrew Kaufman is also a revolving cast member of the Perpetual Motion Roadshow, and now works as a producer for CBC Radio in Toronto.

All My Friends Are Superheroes is his first novel.

Film producers Paul Scherzer and Tracey Boulton are developing a new comedy series for Canadian Television based on All My Friends are Superheroes by our very own Andrew Kaufman. If it's even half as funny as the book, that sounds like a pretty good idea to us. We wish them the best of luck with this one; watch this space for more details as we get them.
